Evans love of dance and theatre began as a very young child aged 8yrs old... It all started after his parents took him to watch a show at the theatre. Evan thought to himself... I need to be part of that on the stage! Afterwards, he began some classes.
Initially Evan began acting and singing and performed many leading roles in several shows, before becoming brave enough to start attending what he really wanted to do, (which was dancing)!
He trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Street Dance, Lyrical, Acro, and Musical Theatre.
He took all his dance exams with the 'Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)' and 'Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), up to professional level...
It was Evan's first Dance Teacher (Miss Sally Ann Falshaw), who recognised his potential to become a professional dancer, and it was her who encouraged him to audition for private dance colleges, with help from his Mother (who is also a dance teacher).
At the age of 15yrs old, Evan started attending lots of coaching from a male ballet teacher who was an ex professional ballet principle with the 'Scottish Ballet Company' (Simon Grey), and it was from his coaching that Evan was lucky enough to be offered 'Dance & Drama Awards', being accepted into several dance colleges to train on the professional dance courses...
After a lot of consideration, Evan decided to train at 'Northern Ballet School', from the age of 16yrs, and he continued his training here for 3 years before graduating and starting employment as a Professional Dance Artist. During Mr Evan's professional dance years... He was fortunate enough to receive Master classes in male virtuosity & ballet solos, from Wayne Sleep, (who is a famous ballet dancer of his generation).
Mr Evan's first professional dance contract was with 'Carnival Cruise Lines', which is where it started... He performed in lots of different styled Cabarete shows, touring around America and the Caribbean.... learnt lots of new skills and styles, before continuing his career in other genres of theatre...

Evan is a highly experienced & skilled teacher, who has a 9-year history running his own theatre school successfully, (FairStage Academy), which sadly had to close when Evan started the next chapter of his life... becoming a Foster Parent.
